From outpatient appointment to discharge
Hospital transport is more than just the ride there. Think of an outpatient appointment, a day admission, dialysis, radiotherapy, rehabilitation or a check-up after surgery. Many of these involve several rides in a row, with fixed times.
For recurring treatments we schedule a fixed schedule. For a one-off appointment we agree beforehand what time you'll be picked up, so you arrive well in time without waiting unnecessarily long in the hall.
Together with family and nursing staff
With a discharge or transfer, nursing staff often have little time to arrange transport. That's why they, or a family member, can call us directly. We only ask what's needed: the pickup address, the destination, the time, and whether any equipment needs to come along.
Do you have an IV, oxygen or a special sitting or lying position? Let us know, and we'll look together at whether the ride can be done safely in our wheelchair-accessible vehicle. If not, we'll say so honestly and think along about an alternative.
Arriving calmly at the right entrance
Hospitals are large and have multiple entrances. We ask beforehand about the right department or entrance, and bring you as close as possible to where you need to be. On request we also pick you up at the department itself, instead of at the main entrance. Boarding and getting off happens at your own pace, with the electric ramp that works safely even for a heavy wheelchair.
The service doesn't stop at the front door when you get home: on request we also bring you inside. A companion who rides along and the waiting time during an appointment are free of charge.
