The electric ramp
At the back of the vehicle there is a ramp that lifts the wheelchair up to floor level. It is operated by the driver and is fitted with yellow handles, anti-slip markings and raised edges. That way you board and get off safely, without the help of a slope.
The ramp is suitable for both wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Let us know which type it is when booking, so we know beforehand whether everything fits.
Securing and safety
The wheelchair is secured to the floor with straps at multiple points, and you wear a belt. That happens the same way for every ride, whether it's a short trip across town or a long ride to the other side of the country. The driver checks everything before setting off.
A vehicle just for you, or for a group
If you travel alone in a wheelchair, the vehicle is for you and possibly your companion. If you travel with a group, for example from a care facility or to an event, we discuss beforehand how many wheelchair spaces and seats are needed and whether one vehicle is enough.
